OCEAN A-EYE

Sovereign waters. Sovereign watch.

Revenue Potential $100–200M/year
OCEAN A-EYE mission patch
Vessel Detection >10m length, any weather
Dark Vessel Detection AIS-off vessels identified via SAR
IUU Fishing Losses Prevented $23B/year addressable
Alert Response Time <15 minutes

Ocean A-Eye provides maritime domain awareness for equatorial nations — tracking every vessel in sovereign waters, detecting illegal fishing, monitoring reef health, and securing maritime borders. The equatorial belt contains 40% of global fisheries and some of the world's most contested waters.

The Challenge

Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated (IUU) fishing costs equatorial nations $23B/year. Foreign fleets enter sovereign waters with impunity because most equatorial nations lack the satellite surveillance to detect them. Maritime border security depends on expensive naval patrols that can't cover vast ocean areas.

The Inversion

EquaSat SAR detects every vessel over 10m, day or night, through any weather. AIS (Automatic Identification System) correlation identifies vessels that turn off their transponders to fish illegally. AI classifies vessel behavior (fishing, transit, loitering) and alerts national coast guards in real time.

Step 1

SAR satellites scan sovereign maritime zones every pass

Step 2

AI detects all vessels >10m regardless of weather or time of day

Step 3

AIS transponder data is correlated — vessels with AIS off are flagged

Step 4

Behavioral AI classifies vessel activity (fishing, transit, loitering)

Step 5

Alerts are pushed to national coast guard command centers

Step 6

Historical tracking enables prosecution of repeat offenders
